Welcome to my website, where I share my passion for walking and the great outdoors. Whether you're a seasoned long-distance walker or new to the benefits of walking, I'm glad you found me.

Walking has been a source of inspiration and wellness for me, especially during a challenging time in my life when I was struggling mentally and spiritually after my dear mother passed away. I found solace and a renewed sense of purpose by setting a goal for myself and training for a 40-mile walking challenge, the Lyke Wake Walk, across the North York Moors. The experience changed my life for the better and since then, I have continued to challenge myself with more walks and routes, recording them using the Outdoor Active GPS app.

On this website, I share some of my favourite walks and routes, as well as tips for safe walking and how to use the Outdoor Active app. Whether you prefer to follow the walks live on your phone or print them out on paper, I want to inspire you to explore the great outdoors and discover the many benefits of walking.

In addition, I'll be sharing some links to some great walking equipment and other walk-related aspects, so you can easily find everything you need to make the most of your walks.
